This tutorial assumes that you have access to the following:
- A Google Search Console account (Regular Google Accounts work, but this should preferably be an existing one belonging to your company)
- Access to your company's TRUE-Dashboard
Inside TRUE-Dashboard Navigate to Settings and scroll down to SEO & SOCIAL.
Click on Go to Search Console (Opens up in a New Tab).
Click on the menu up to the left of the screen.
Click on Add property.
Enter the URL of your document landing page (i.e https://diplom.website.com) as a URL prefix type and click Continue.
Select HTML tag as Verification method.
Click Copy and Go back to the TRUE-dashboard tab (Do not close the Google Search Console tab, we're not done there yet).
Paste the content of the clipboard into the Google Search Console (HTML Tag Code) field and then click Update & Save.
Go back to Google Search Console tab and click Verify.
The result should look like this:
If this fails, please verify that you pressed Update & Save in your TRUE-Dashboard settings, and that the HTML Tag Code is correct, if not; correct it and wait 2-3 minutes before verifying again, however it should work immediately.
If it the verification is completed, click on the GO TO PROPERTY-button.
To optimize your SEO you should add the sitemap.
